Worship/Celebration: 8:30pm @ Grace Church

Join us over your spring break (or personal wellness day for the ISU crew) to worship, serve, and grow together.  We’ll meet at Grace Church (Hovey Ave in Normal) for a morning session.  Invite your friends to serve alongside you in the afternoon.  Come back at 8:30pm to Grace Church so we can worship and celebrate the day together.  Meals will be on your own.  More details for the day (including covid precautions) will be sent to all registered participants.  Sign up soon to get a tshirt and your choice of service locations!

WHERE WE’RE SERVING:

Special Olympics Illinois  [SIGNUPS FULL]  2pm – 4pm

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We will be organizing and labeling sports equipment that was donated to the organization.

Heartland Head Start Program [SIGNUPS FULL] (group of 10)  1pm – 4pm

Heartland Head Start is a family development program for low income families in McLean and Livingston counties. We will be partnering with the Children’s Discovery Museum to put together Early Childhood Education kits for students in our area.

Illinois Art Station  (group of 20)  1pm – 4pm

Illinois Art Station provides hands-on experiences in the visual arts to children and families from all backgrounds and neighborhoods. IAS just moved to a new building, so we will be helping them get it ready for programming to start!

The Boys and Girls Club [SIGNUPS FULL] (group of 20)  2pm – 5:15pm

[ALL GIRL SPOTS FILLED – ONLY GUY SIGNUPS REMAINING]  Come serve at the Bloomington Boys and Girls Club’s after school program! We will be curating an event for the K-5th grade students, playing with them, and providing hands on care for the children!

Catalyst Ministries  (group of 25)  1pm – 4pm

Catalyst Ministries works to rescue and provide a safe haven for women who have been abused, exploited, and enslaved. We have the opportunity to bless their staff by helping with spring cleaning projects at their two locations in Bloomington-Normal. This project will involve working with your hands, doing yard work, and various other projects.

Little Galilee Christian Camp  (group of 30+) 1pm – 6pm (including drive time)

Come serve the camp that often serves us!
Nice weather: Move things into new Dining Hall, stack wood, mulch trails
Bad weather: Helping clean up after major renovations in the old dining hall, clean tables, beds, benches

Pressing Jesus deep in the hearts of students so the Gospel will take root in every corner of the world.
